First there were social media posts and now there's clothing

A few days ago we learned that you can get arrested for posting anti-government messages on Facebook, but as it turns out, you can get in trouble for something far less. US authorities were so afraid of terrorists that they refused to let a man board an airplane because of the t-shirt he was wearing.

On his personal blog, Arijit – a 31-year-old PhD student at Arizona State – details the ordeal he went through while trying to board a plane from Buffalo, New York.

The problematic message on his shirt read: Bombs ZOMG, ZOMG terrorists, gonna kill us all ZOMG ZOMG, alert level bloodred run, run take off your shoes.

After being questioned, searched, and forced to change his clothing, he and his wife were still not allowed to get on the Delta airplane. When he asked for clarifications he was told to “use his imagination.”

So, there you have it. Another example of why you should be careful before making government-related posts, or buying funny clothes.
