In addition to dates/romance, willing lady must like dogs and landscapers

In an attempt to find the “hot brunette” love of his life, the now-called Waterloo Romeo has been walking around London with a sign stating his pursue of a dark-haired lady willing to date and romance him in the new year.

Photos of the man holding up signs reading “Hot Brunette wanted for 2014” and “Dates/Romance, must like dogs and landscapers” have flooded Twitter and other social media sites. The man literally took matters into his own hands in the shape of signs appealing for dates, according to Metro News.

The man, apparently called Gerald, offers his email address in case any hot brunette is interested in dating him this year. But he fails to mention one thing, if the hot brunette should be a female or a male, because that might cause some confusion for the applicants.

Reddit users also posted photos of the man wandering with his signs around the city in a desperate attempt to find this year’s love, because he only says 2014, he doesn't mention the fact that the hot brunette will make it past these 12 months.

Some Tweeter users even tried giving the man a hand by posting his photo and asking for potential applicants. “Surely one of my followers (male or female) can help this guy out? Ha ha. […] #Waterloo Romeo,” Robert Century tweeted.

“Hot brunette and looking for love? Get to Charring Cross now. Blonds and redheads need not apply,” Eric Whelan, another man trying to help Gerald, posted on his Twitter page. What better way to state one's desires than to write two huge signs and parade them around one of the world's busiest cities.

Hopefully, at least some applicants will contact Gerald and his hard work to find 2014's love won't be in vain. Even if he is a bit picky – the applicant must be hot, brunette, must like dogs and landscapers, has to date and romance him for 2014 – he may still have a chance to find his better half.
