Supposing US President Barack Obama wants to become a farmer, it looks like he can get the herd of his dreams in a jippy. All he has to do is agree to wed his daughter Malia to a lawyer in Kenya.

The man, named Felix Kiprono, says that he took an interest in Malia back in 2008. He is now offering President Obama 50 cows, 70 sheep and 30 goats in exchange for her hand in marriage.

True, he doesn't yet have all these animals, but insists that his parents are willing to help him honor his promise to President Obama. Just as long as the US leader keeps his side of the bargain.

“I have shared this with my family and they are willing to help me raise the bride price,” Kenyan lawyer Felix Kiprono said in an interview, as cited by Express.

His love is pure, make no mistake about it

Felix Kiprono says that, ever since he fell with in love with Malia in 2008, there's been no place in his heart for any other woman. He's saved himself for her and wants no other bride.

He's so optimistic about the prospect of marrying her that he's even imagined their life together. Naturally, they would live in Kenya, his home country.

As for his wife, Malia Obama - Malia Kiprono, better said - would stay at home and look after the family. She would cook, milk cows and live just like any other Kalenjin woman in Kenya.

“I will teach Malia how to milk a cow, cook ugali (maize porridge) and prepare mursik (a traditional sour milk) like any other Kalenjin woman,” Felix Kiprono said.

The man is determined to propose to Malia

Felix Kiprono hopes that, the next time US President Barack Obama visits Kenya, his daughter Malia will agree to accompany him. Then, he will propose on a hill in Bureti.

Mind you, this hill is of special significance for the Kenyan lawyer in that it is the place where many of the nation's leaders and warriors have been crowned and honored over the years.

Until finally coming face to face with Barack Obama and his hopefully soon-to-be bride Malia, the man plans to send the US President a letter with his offer. He'll send this letter through the US ambassador to Kenya.
