Since before Casey Anthony was released from jail after being acquitted of the murder of her 2-year-old daughter, there’s been a lot of talk of whether she’d ever sell her story to the highest bidder. One has just come out of the woodwork.

The only thing is that he’s ready to pay a fortune for Anthony’s story just so he can make sure it will never be turned into a movie or a book, or sold in any other shape or form to the press.

According to TMZ, the mysterious buyer is looking to buy Anthony’s silence for life – and he’s already put his money where his mouth is.

“According to new court documents filed in Anthony's bankruptcy case, Casey's camp has received a $10k [€7,724] offer from a man hoping to obtain exclusive rights to Casey's life story,” the celebrity publication writes.

As we also informed you a short while ago, Anthony has filed bankruptcy papers, saying this is the final page in this old chapter of her life: she’s looking to start fresh.

Because many believe starting fresh could also include selling her side of the story, this one man is trying to prevent her from capitalizing on her daughter’s death.

“The buyer doesn't want to make a movie, put her on TV or write a book – the docs explain his sole motivation is to ‘prevent Ms. Anthony or others from publishing or profiting from her story in the future’,” TMZ writes.

The same media outlet identifies the man as James M. Schober, and notes that he is no relation to Anthony. In fact, he doesn’t even know her personally, so chances are pretty strong that he’s good for his word.

Whether he’ll get things done his way is a different story.

“As far as we can see, there's no way the judge will green-light Schober's plan. First, even Casey doesn't have the exclusive right to her story – someone could write an unauthorized biography. Besides that, there's no way a judge would force the sale of thoughts in Casey's head,” TMZ underlines.

“It's very weird... but the bankruptcy trustee is totally into selling Casey's story, because he's asking the court if he can create a bidding war,” adds the same media outlet.
