A man in China had the surprise of a lifetime when he woke up one day and found his car looking like it had survived a dangerously close encounter with a seriously pissed off bear. He had an even bigger shock when he learned that it was no angry bear that trashed his four-wheeler.

On the contrary, word has it that the man's vehicle was trashed by a canine and a few of its buddies. That's right, it looks like, every once in a while, dogs stop being our absolute best friends and become some of our worst enemies. Especially when we give them cause to do so.

The man kind of had it coming

The day before he woke up to find his car destroyed, the man, whose identity remains a mystery, made the mistake to hit a stray dog for no good reason. By the looks of it, he kicked the pooch because it was sleeping in his parking spot and wanted it to get up and leave.

Rather than turn against the man then and there, the dog left and let the man park his vehicle exactly where he wanted to. Not long after the man abandoned his car to tend to his daily routine, the canine returned with some of its buddies and got to work trashing it.

As shown in the photos included in the gallery below, the dogs took their time chewing on the car's windscreen and bodywork. The scene was witnessed by one of the man's neighbors, who snapped the photos and showed them to the vehicle's owner the following day, Daily Mail informs.

One can only hope that, after this incident, the man will know better than kick another dog ever again. Then again, chances are that, if he has not yet learned his lesson, the dog and its friends will prove more than willing to once again act as his teachers whenever, wherever.

Animal cruelty is quite common in China

Presently, China has no laws banning people from being cruel towards animals and kicking them. Hence the fact that dogs and cats living in this country, together with many other creatures, are often abused by guys and gals who don't know any better.

In fact, authorities only intervene if the injured animal belongs to somebody. In these cases, the abuser stands accused not of cruelty towards animals, but of knowingly and purposely damaging property.
