14 DAY TRIAL // Penio Daskalov, a 24-year-old man from Bulgaria, will go forth with plans of becoming like his greatest idol: he will have gender reassignment surgery to look just like Lady Gaga.
Radar Online talked to the aspiring singer and one-time reality star (he was on one of the editions of Big Brother Bulgaria) and has learned that, indeed, he’s set to become just like the pop singer.
The purpose is to become Gaga’s double and, to attain it, the man has also enlisted the help of an entire team of plastic surgeons.
“Penio Daskalov, 24, plans to have a full [gener] change operation and is enlisting cosmetic surgeons to turn him into a double of Lady Gaga, which he thinks will help him launch a career in music, Radar Online has learned,” Radar writes.
“I really admire the way she has created herself, so when I’ve had my operations I won’t be quite a man or quite a woman,” Daskalov says for the e-zine.
And Penio has even bigger dreams that simply becoming a double of Gaga, as he also wants to see the day when he and the hitmaker are in the same studio together, recording a duet.
“I’ve already contacted her management and told them what I am doing and how I’d like to record a duet with her,” he says for the same publication.
According to Radar, during his stint on Big Brother, Daskalov managed to successfully trick all the other housemates into thinking he was a woman, therefore he shouldn’t have a hard time making it as Gaga’s double.
As of now, it’s not known whether the singer has any comments to make on Daskalov’s impending transformation or, for that matter, if she wants to take him up on the duet offer.
However, knowing how she lives by the saying it’s good to be different as long as you’re true to yourself, chances are she will probably advise him against it, word has it.
