14 DAY TRIAL // Not everyone was feeling in a celebratory mood on Saturday, August 2, at the Beyonce and Jay Z concert at LA's Rose Bowl Stadium. Or better yet, some were feeling especially celebratory, so much so that they ended up biting someone's fingertip off.
CBS Local reports that one Roberto Alcaraz Garnica, 25, from San Diego is being held by police on suspicion of biting off the finger of another concertgoer on Saturday. The official accusations are in his case, lewd assault and mayhem.
The incident began with Garnica groping a woman in his vicinity at the concert. He boyfriend noticed his advances and confronted him. A scuffle between the two men ensued and, in the altercation, Garnica somehow managed to bite off the tip of his rival's finger.
The mayhem charge brought against Garnica is legally defined as disabling or disfiguring a part of a victim's body. The boyfriend was taken to the hospital, where he received treatment for his injuries.
Meanwhile, his attacker was taken into custody, where he is currently being held and could face additional charges. It seems that not everyone is impressed by the Jay Z and Beyonce divorce drama. Beyonce and Jay Z played two nights in a row at the Rose Bowl, and the incident took place on the first night of their On the Run concert.
