A man from Australia has been arrested over driving a vehicle without using a steering wheel.

ABC reported that the 38-year-old unnamed driver from Northfield was driving while intoxicated with drugs.

His white Holden Commodore sedan had two flat tires and he had no steering wheel. He had replaced it with vice grips.

They caught up to him on Sudholz Road in Gilles Plains, a suburb of Adelaide. He had also been involved in a hit and run accident on Folland Avenue in Northfield.

South Australian police posted a photo of his clever way of maneuvering the vehicle using pliers online.

They also found that he had no valid registration, insurance or even a driver's license. He was booked on the spot after several residents reported him driving erratically.
