Olivia Newton-John’s home in Florida is now a crime scene after police discovered the body of a 42-year-old man on the premises. The actress was not at home when the tragedy happened, ABC News reports.

A police investigation is now underway to determine the exact cause of death. Further details will be released only after the autopsy.

“A middle-aged man was found dead shortly after 12 p.m. today at the Jupiter, Fla., home of ‘Grease’ star Olivia Newton-John, police said,” ABC informs.

“Jupiter Police spokesman Scott Pascarella told ABC News the cause of death and the 42-year-old man’s name will not be released until after the autopsy Tuesday morning, but that he did suffer from a gunshot wound,” adds the report.

“Pascarella said somebody discovered the body at the residence this afternoon and it was that of a contractor hired by the homeowners,” ABC further notes.

As per the same official, neither the actress nor her husband John Easterling was at home at the time of the death. Police have already established that the man was not a relative of the two and did not reside at the address.

The star’s publicist was not available for comment at the time of writing.

Earlier this year, the former “Grease” star dealt with another death, this time in the family.

In April, she announced that she’d be canceling her Las Vegas residency following her sister Rona’s brain cancer diagnosis. The two had been famously close.

She apologized to fans for letting them down and said that she wanted the time off to help her sister battle the disease, as a “cancer thriver” herself.

Shortly afterwards, Rona passed away.

“I will miss her forever — my beautiful, smart, talented, funny, brave sister Rona,” Olivia wrote on her Facebook page, breaking the sad news to the world.
