62-year-old Paul Marshallsea, from the UK, is somewhat of a hero after dragging a shark away from an area in which a lot of children swim, in Bulcock Beach, Australia.

He heard people screaming “shark” as he was cooking and immediately rushed over and sprang into action, Daily Mail chronicles.

You can see the shark in shallow water, and the man grabbing its tail and carrying it further from the shoreline. He also meant to help out the two-meter (6.6-foot) Dusky Whaler shark.

“I know it was dangerous but it almost looked beautiful – you have got to have respect for a beautiful animal. People might say it was a stupid thing to do, but when you see a beautiful beast struggling to survive up close and personal you somehow tend to respect it and want to help it,” he describes.
