Few would ever admit to this in public for fear of being criticized and given the evil eye, but the truth is that noisy kids aren't exactly fun to have around. Especially when one is feeling a bit under the weather.

Even fewer people would ever take matters into their own hands and teach such kids a thing or two about why it's not OK to misbehave. Luckily for internauts worldwide, Reddit user thr111 is not one of these folks.

In a post shared with the online community a couple of say ago, this man tells the tale of how, some time ago, he found himself buying as many as 23 Burger King pies not because he was famished, but because he wanted to spite a noisy kid.

In this post, the man explains that, on the day of his revenge against the child, he stopped at a Burger King joint in Montreal, Canada, looking to grab a bite to eat. He had a headache and only wanted to enjoy his lunch, Fox News reports.

While the man was waiting in line, a mom and her child walked in. Apparently, the kid was simply dying to eat some pie, and kept reminding his mother of this intense craving of his in a rather aggressive manner.

“This kid was out of control, screaming, punching his mother throwing around a gameboy whenever something didn't go right in the game. The mother didn't seem to pay any attention to him and his continued yelling of ‘I want a [expletive] PIE.’”

“I calmly turn and ask her nicely if she can please calm or quiet her child down. Immediately she gets up in my face telling me I can't tell her nothing about raising her child and to mind my own business,” the man writes on Reddit.

Eventually, the man decided that the only thing left to do was to take revenge on the mother and her child. Thus, when finally getting around to placing his order, he asked staff at the Burger King joint to give him all the pies in store in addition to his hamburgers.

When the mother and child finally got around to ordering their meal, they were told that there weren't any pies left. What's more, they were told that the person who had bought them all was the man standing right in front of them in line. The one they were so quick to dismiss minutes earlier.

“Turned out to be 23 pies in total, I take my order and walk towards the exit. Moments later I hear the woman yelling, what do you mean you don't have any pies left, who bought them all? I turn around and see the cashier pointing me out with the woman shooting me a death glare.”

“I stand there and pull out a pie and slowly start eating eat as I stare back at her. She starts running towards me but can't get to me because of other lineups in the food court. I turn and slowly walk away,” Reddit user thr111 details the epic finale of this fairly hilarious episode.

In case anyone was wondering, the man did not eat all the pies by himself. Thus, he took them to work with him and shared them with his colleagues.
