14 DAY TRIAL // Bigfoot is nothing if not determined to keep its existence a secret, but it keeps making the same mistake: it never wears shoes when walking around in the forest.
The result is that folks keep finding its footprints, and use this alleged evidence to try and convince non-believers that Bigfoot is very much real.
Not to beat about the bush, it was only a few days ago that a man identified as Peyton Lassiter stumbled upon a freakishly large footprint while exploring the woods near the city of Vicksburg in Mississippi, US.
The man was quick to make a cast of the print. The cast, pictured next to this article, is said to have white-gray hairs embedded in it. According to Peyton Lassiter, chances are these hairs adorned Bigfoot's body not too long ago.
“That right there isn't human,” the man told the press in a recent interview. “I have no knowledge of what made it, and I didn't see what made it, but it's very intriguing,” he added, as cited by Daily Mail.
Truth be told, the cast does measure 9 inches (about 22.8 centimeters) in length and has a width of 6 inches (15.2 roughly centimeters) at the toes, so there is no question the print on which it is based is also quite large.
Whether the alleged Bigfoot print that Peyton Lassiter claims to have found in the woods close to the city of Vicksburg in Mississippi, US, is real or was planted there by somebody looking to have some fun remains a mystery.
What's interesting is that Peyton Lassiter found the print in a region where, just months ago, one other local named David Childers chanced to spot a weird-looking animal that let out a weird sound before disappearing from view in the bushes.
“It was definitely a shaggy coat to it, like a grayish-brown color. When it made the noise that spooked me, I looked over, and it looked like it stood up and just bolted off,” David Childers detailed his encounter in a statement.
Oddly enough, it looks like this man spotted the supposed Bigfoot while investigating paranormal activity at a local playground where he claims to have heard children's voices several times over the years.
Peyton Lassiter and David Childers are now thinking about joining hands and going in search of the elusive creature together. Nobody is saying that they are imagining things and that there is nothing to find in the woods in Mississippi, but it would be best if folks didn't hold their breath waiting for these two men to find Bigfoot.
