24-year-old Bradley Herbert Hardison of North Carolina, US, was not too long ago taken into custody by local officers. Oddly enough, the man was arrested the day after beating the police and firefighters in a donut-eating contest.

Information shared with the public says that, having entered the donut-eating contest, the man gulped down as many as 8 donuts in just 2 minutes' time and won first prize. Both police officers and firefighters congratulated him.

However, the very next day, authorities figured out that 24-year-old Bradley Herbert Hardison was a wanted man. One that had been on the run for about 9 months before entering the competition and winning it fair and square.

According to Daily Mail, it was his impressive donut-eating abilities that got this man arrested. Thus, after he won the competition, he's face was plastered all over a local newspaper. Unfortunately for Bradley, Lt. Max Robeson also read this article.

Shortly after, police at the Camden County Sheriff's Office arrested the 24-year-old. “I did congratulate him. Good for him. He can eat a lot of donuts. Good for him,” Lt. Max Robeson told the press in an interview concerning this arrest.

By the looks of it, 24-year-old Bradley Herbert Hardison was wanted for felony breaking and entering and misdemeanor injury to real property. Now that police officers have finally found and arrested him, he will probably spend some time behind bars.

It's still unclear why the wanted man thought it a good idea to take part in a donut-eating contest against cops and firefighters. More so since the contests was held as part of Elizabeth City Police Department's National Night Out Against Crime.
