Mama June’s troubles are getting more serious: the mother of 4 who, until not long ago, was one of TLC’s biggest reality stars, thanks to the series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, which was canceled when word got out that Mama June was dating a pedophile, is now accused of stealing from her kids’ trust funds.

Anna Cardwell, known as Chickadee from the series, is speaking to E! News and offering an even more chilling insight into the life of what was once the most popular family on reality television, bar the Kardashians.

She is the one accusing Mama June of stealing from her trust fund, which was supposed to have over $30,000 (€23,975) but is almost empty. Since Chickadee doesn’t have access to the money without Mama June’s consent, it had to be her taking money out of it.

Mama June is seeing a pedophile, risking everything

Chickadee is now coming out with a very shocking story that happened over a decade ago, when she was just 8 years old and her mother was dating a man named Mark McDaniel. She says McDaniel forced himself on her, for which reason he was sent away to prison for 10 years.

He’s out now, and photos have confirmed that Mama June has been seeing a lot of him since his release. They went house-hunting together after she split from Sugar Bear, and she bought him a used car, cash down.

That cash came from Chickadee’s trust fund, the 20-year-old believes, as the video below will confirm. She says she called the bank and was told there was hardly any money left in the account, which led her to believe Mama June stole it to buy McDaniel the car and whatever else he wanted.

However, Chickadee is more upset that Mama June would risk her daughters’ safety just to be with this man. Chickadee has been out of the house since shortly after the abuse (she was raised by her maternal grandmother), but Mama June has custody of 3 minor girls.

She’s terrified that McDaniel will prey next on Honey Boo Boo, who is 9 – about the same age she was when he molested her.

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, the little engine that could – but can no more

Here Comes Honey Boo was greenlit when TLC bosses noticed how insanely successful Honey Boo Boo was on Toddlers & Tiaras. Even though she and Mama June also drew severe criticism, there were signs indicating that people would tune in for a show with their family.

That turned out to be the case: a classic case of a series meant to make viewers laugh at hillbillies, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo became the network’s biggest hit, which means Mama June and the family were rolling in cash.

Mama June was smart though (or so she said): she didn’t move the family out of the house or start living like a celebrity overnight. Well aware that was their one shot to make it big in life, she set up trust funds for the kids, allowed for a bit more cash to come in the house for expenses, and saved the rest.

This way, she said, she was making sure that her kids would have a better start in life than she could have ever hoped to have herself.

Apparently, this applied to the other 3 girls, not to Chickadee. Mama June denies taking money from her trust fund, but Chickadee says she’s lying through her teeth.
