14 DAY TRIAL // You’d think that someone facing the kind of allegations Mama June is facing, namely that she chose a pedophile lover over the daughter he molested, would keep more to themselves, perhaps even go away from the spotlight for a while.
But not Mama June, though. The matriarch, until just recently TLC’s biggest reality star / export, has taken to Facebook to advertise her cameo in the Jim Carrey, Jeff Daniels comedy “Dumb and Dumber To,” the sequel to the 1994 hit.
Apparently, the cameo is a surprise. With the bad reviews the film is getting right now, the association with such a disgrace of a mother can’t possibly help.
“I know with all the craziness going on now but I'm very excited to announce that I'm going to be in the new Dumb and Dumber To movie,” Mama June brags on Facebook. “I am very appreciative for the opportunity and the experience of doing something like this the Farrelly brothers.”
In case you’re out of the loop, you should know that TLC canceled the reality series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo when June was caught with the man who had just been released from prison after doing time for molesting her own daughter, back when she was 8.
June initially lied and said that she hadn’t seen him in years, since she found out about what he did, but eventually admitted to the obvious (i.e. photographic evidence): she had met with him. She insists there was nothing romantic going on, that she just felt sorry for him because he’d been diagnosed with leukemia.
That still doesn’t change the fact that she met and spent time with the man who admitted in court to forcing himself on her 8-year-old daughter. And the fact that Mama June is basically bragging about her cameo makes her even more despicable.
