14 DAY TRIAL // Yesterday it was revealed that Mama June, the reality star on TLC's successful series, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, was in a secret relationship with a man that was accused and subsequently convicted for child molestation.
Today, the reality star has addressed the rumors on her daughter's Facebook page, claiming that she left the child molester in question, Mark McDaniel, ten years ago, when he was convicted of his crime.
Mama June blasted the rumor out of the water, said she was focusing on her family
“I want to make a post trying to clear up the rumors remember you can't believe everything you read! Ppl sell stories to the tabloid everyday that r false! (sic)” June began her argument.
“It isnt true I promise my kids r #1 priority over anything else and I would never put them in danger period over this or anything else they r my life this is my past I left him 10 yrs ago for it and I wouldn't go back,” she went on.
The tabloids went crazy yesterday, claiming that Mama June was in a secret relationship with McDaniel, despite the fact that his victim was a child that was part of her family. The magazines refused to identify the child, but specified that it was someone who had come into contact with June.
In order to drive her point home, June also added a link to her post in which her daughter Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon says pretty much the same thing “They story is not true. My mom left Mark 10 years ago. They haven’t seen nor talked [to each other] in 10 years (sic).”

Her daughter also added in an interview for Radar that her mother is at the moment leading the single life, and that she's happy, after she split up from Sugar Bear in a scandal last month, when she caught him setting up accounts on dating sites, looking for a potential partner.
The daughter stressed that June is only focused on her children and that they are all working together as “one big happy family.”
She also blasts the photos of June and McDaniel sitting together in what looks to be a hotel bed, as fake, as being photoshopped.
Interestingly, McDaniel's own son, Michael, has also denied that there was any involvement between his father and Mama June, upholding their version of the story, “They are not dating, it's been 10 years,” he told interviewers.
It's amazing how everyone involved seems to have responded promptly in this case and all of their versions line up perfectly. Yesterday, when the media reached out to TLC, the network airing the reality series, representatives claimed they had no knowledge of such a secret liaison but that if it was true, they had good reason to pull the plug on the show.
