14 DAY TRIAL // Owners of Android-based devices interested in improving the security of their devices can now download and install a new application specifically designed for that, namely Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Mobile.
Available only in a beta state for the time being (as version 1.00.0.0400), the application can be installed on handsets and tablet PCs running under Android 2.3 and newer devices.
Just as other similar apps, the software provides users with the possibility to scan their devices for malware, and also to remove malicious files from them.
The app should easily discover and get rid of worms, trojans, spyware, rootkits, rogues, dialers, and other malware.
“Please note that we are using a tool called HockeyApp to distribute this beta and track information about any application crashes - it gives you an option to send back non-identifying crash information to help us improve the product - so please send it if you can,” a post on the company’s forum reads.
