A second public beta has emerged for Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 2.0, bringing to the table new and improved functionality along with fixes for specific glitches affecting stability of the application.

The latest revision has the capability to scan registry hives for all the user accounts available on the system, not just the current one. Before kicking out the detected threats, Anti-Malware now offers the possibility to save the scan results.

Furthermore, the list of quarantined items refreshes automatically to show the latest detections without having to restart the application.

Starting this release, rebooting the system is no longer required for restoring content caught by the Malware Protection component.

Also on the list of changes is the fact that the AntiRootkit component is no longer misdetecting encrypted non-OS drives as having forged sectors.

As far as stability is concerned, the developing company announced that several crash bugs had been removed, including some issues that caused BSODs under certain conditions.

Recently, the company announced that purchasing Malwarebytes Anti-Malware can now be done using Bitcoin digital currency.
