Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 2 was officially launched a couple of weeks ago, but the parent company has already completed development of another version, so an update is now available for everyone.

As you could easily guess since we’re talking about an update for a security app, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 2.0.1.1004 comes with important bug fixes and feature improvements that are supposed to make the program more effective and able to block threats easier.

According to the official release notes, in this new build the database should be updated automatically after installation, while notifications are no longer displayed if the dashboard is in focus. This was made to reduce redundant information, the devs said.

In addition, this particular version reduces the intensity of the colors used for tray notifications and status banners in the dashboard, while also reducing the size of all tray notifications.

Just as expected, the application continues to run flawlessly on all Windows versions still supported by Microsoft, even though Windows XP will soon be retired. Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is one of the apps that will continue to work on Windows XP after April 8, the parent company said.

Overall, this is an update that comes in handy for everyone, so download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 2.0.1.1004 right now to make sure that your computer is fully protected.
