Users are promised an adult video, but they end up with malware

Would you click on a link that allegedly takes you to the most popular adult video on the Internet? Well, you shouldn’t, because chances are that you’ll end up with a nasty piece of malware on your computer.

Dynamoo’s Blog has come across an email spam campaign that advertises an adult video in an effort to trick users into visiting malware websites.

“This video has been recognized as the most popular videos on the internet! Watch now,” the emails read.

However, there’s no video. Those who click on the links from the email end up on a hijacked GoDaddy domain that’s set up to push malware onto visitors’ computers.

Interestingly, the same compromised website is currently abused in a Facebook spam run and a CNN spam campaign.
