Malibal LLC, a leader in laptop design and development, today announced the addition of several Nvidia GPU options to its series of Veda notebooks. Therefore, all the potential users can now choose between Dual NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GTX 512MB GPUs, Dual NVIDIA Quadro FX 2500M 512MB GPUs or a single NVIDIA Quadro FX 2500M 512MB GPU. Moreover, Malibal also announced the addition of Corsair Memory as an option on every notebook featured in the series.

“One of the great things about purchasing a customizable notebook, is the opportunity to have a wide selection of components to pick and choose from,” said Matthew Plott, founder, Malibal. “We are continually pushing to enhance our customers’ experience by expanding their build options in order to provide them with a complete freedom of choice when configuring their system.”

In conclusion, the Veda Series standard configuration will come with Dual NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GTX 512MB GPUs upgraded from 7800 GTX 256MB GPUs, and will include a 19" WSXGA+ with GlassView LCD Active Matrix Display ( a resolution of 1680 x 1050 pixels), AMD Turion 64 Mobile ML-40, Crucial 512MB PC-3200/400MHz, and Hitachi Travelstar 60GB 5400rpm 2.5" SATA-150.

But the capabilities of the Veda series don’t end here, as every notebook sports a Toshiba DVD/CDRW Combo Drive, Internal 802.11G Wi-Fi/Bluetooth Combo Module, Integrated 1.3M Webcam, 4-in-1 Card Reader (SD, MS, MMC, MS Pro), Creative PCMCIA Sound Blaster Audigy and, of course, Microsoft’s 2 ZS Windows Home Edition.

The GeForce Go 7900 GTX 512MB and Quadro FX 2500M 512MB GPUs are also options on the Samadhi Series and Series 9. The 7900 GTX 512MB is a $299 upgrade from the 7800 GTX 256MB, and the FX 2500M 512MB is a $299 upgrade from the 7900 GTX 512MB.
