Apple has opened the would-be doors to its new online store in Malaysia announcing a Grand Opening Celebration. The company is happy to give away free T-shirts to anyone who buys a Mac or an iPod from 8 a.m. November 11, 2008 until 11.59 p.m. November 24, 2008.

The new online store offers Apple’s products directly to residents of Malaysia, yet all of the pages are in English. This has spawned speculation that Apple is planning to bring its iTunes Music Store here as well, according to ifoAppleStore. From the just-opened Malaysian store, Apple's message goes,

Grand Opening Celebration

Commemorate our grand opening with a free limited-edition Apple T-shirt. Simply purchase a new Mac or iPod by November 24, 2008, and we’ll send you this exclusive shirt for free. Hurry - T-shirt supplies are limited.

Does anyone else think Apple TV buyers not being eligible for free T-shirts is lame? – Just think, you can buy a 1GB shuffle (which is like 40 dollars), get your free T-shirt, get out and party, and spill drinks all over it, but you are denied this good time by purchasing an Apple TV (160GB), which costs well over 300 bucks.

Either way, the promotion is open to all residents of Malaysia. Only one T-shirt per customer will be sent, regardless of the amount of products or orders placed within the promotional period. Speaking of which, remember that the offer runs from 8 a.m. November 11, 2008 until 11.59 p.m. November 24, 2008. Also note that the T-shirts are available in size large only. No other sizes are included in the offer, says Apple.

Also, the T-shirt is not transferable or exchangeable for another product and cannot be taken as cash, and will be delivered separately from your order (in most cases) no later than 30 days after the end of the promotion period. The mauve piece of cloth will be delivered to the physical address you provide when purchasing your new Mac or iPod.

So, here's where the store is at. Give it a glance, and see if there's anything there that others store don't have, or vice versa.
