Makululinux 4.1, a Linux distribution based on the Debian testing branch, Jessie, that aims to provide a sleek and stable experience for a wide variety of users, has been officially released.

Makululinux 4.1 is based on Xfce 4.10 and Linux kernel 3.10.3. It has been built from scratch and has undergone extensive testing, or at least this is what the developer is telling us.

The distribution has received a new look, with new theme and icons, Opera has been replaced with Chromium, Steam has been installed by default, NeroLinux and NeroLinux Express are used as default, and Wine has been pre-installed.

Also, Nitroshare has replaced Samba, the Conky Manager featuring 80+ pre-installed conkys has been made available, and a number of applications have been updated to newer versions.

A complete list of changes and improvements is available in the official announcement. Download Makululinux 4.1 right now from Softpedia.
