One of the most popular dancers ever on the show, Maks has plans to remain in showbiz
Maksim Chmerkovskiy, aka Maks, is leaving Dancing With the Stars, for good, a new unconfirmed report says. He has already informed the show’s producers that he won’t be back for a new season.“Sources close to the production tell us Maksim spoke with producers a few days ago and informed them that he wouldn't be returning for the upcoming season,” TMZ reports.
The same media outlet says that Maks is determined to stay in showbiz and is already working on other projects, both in movies and in television.
“FYI – the 33-year-old dancer has been on the show since Season 2 (2006) and partnered up with stars like Misty May, Laila Ali, Erin Andrews, Kirstie Alley and Mel B,” TMZ further says.
He also had something of a bad boy reputation that often got him under heavy fire, but he was also loved for his amazing skills on the dance floor.
Speaking of which, above is one of the best dances ever on DWTS and yes, it’s with him and Mel B, former Scary Spice of the Spice Girls.
