The lack of apps is considered one of the major drawbacks of the new Windows 8 operating system, but Microsoft tries to solve this problem with all kinds of videos supposed to show developers that building apps for the new platform is piece of cake.

Today’s video is aimed at game developers, as Microsoft claims that making games shine on Windows 8 is as easy as it could be.

While it also showcases some of the most popular games in the Store right now, Microsoft explains that the touch support available in Windows 8 is the foundation of each great app, so developers should start porting their apps to the new OS as soon as possible.

In the meantime, Microsoft has also announced a new AppFest coding marathon in India, trying to bring together more than 10,000 students to create Windows 8 apps.
