Siri is getting better by using it and you can see this personal assistant went through some changes lately. Coming this fall, together with iOS 8, Siri will get even smarter. Apple plans to revamp the results and integrate Siri with third-party apps. Until then, however, you need to follow a primer on how to make the most of it and get faster and better help by using it on your iPhone or iPad.

Sure, it is easy to open a browser window and look for something. But since you have Internet connection, wouldn't it be easier to just say what you want and get the results in a fraction of a second? Most of us don't use Siri at all, or maybe just for the basic Google Searches. But Siri can do a lot more.

In iOS 7, Siri understands what you say and wants to learn more. Go ahead, just say: "Remind me to call my mom." If you are doing that the first time, Siri will ask you who your mom is and associate her contact with that info. The next time you are going to say "Send a message to Mom," Siri is going to recognize her right away. If you have more than one phone number for a certain person, Siri will learn to call the one you use the most and even know which number is the one used for FaceTime, if needed.

Did you know you can use Siri to launch an app? Just say "Open Camera" and you're ready to take pictures. You can also set a meeting in the Calendar app without even opening the app or typing anything. Getting directions using Maps.app is just as easy as asking Siri to play a certain song in the Music app.

Siri can currently ask questions to WolframAlpha or Yelp and turn your settings On or Off. You can post to Twitter or Facebook using Siri and ask her what movies are playing in your areas. One of the cool tricks is to ask questions like "Where is Anna?" and Siri will open Find My Friends and location your friend named Anna. You can also choose a Movie, play the trailer, check out reviews by asking if it is worth watching and even buy a ticket.

If you are in a hurry, you can set your timer and if you feel lonely you can just ask Siri for a joke. Check out the video below and learn 50 other great ways to use Siri.
