14 DAY TRIAL // Just in time for Valentines Day, WET Productions has released My Virtual Girlfriend 1.2 today, adding more girls, better AI, achievements, new sound effects, full HD for the iPad version, some graphical improvements and performance enhancements.
My Virtual Girlfriend is a 3D dating simulation game which offers "fun and flirty gameplay."
The app (obviously) targets the male iPhone user base with “beautiful, 3D, women that rival the beauty of playboy models with unique personalities that embrace the humor of some typical female behaviors,” according to the developers.
“This is one dating simulation game that you don't want to miss!” says WET Productions.
As noted above, the official release notes for My Virtual Girlfriend reveal that version 1.2 adds better AI (artificial intelligence), which can only translate into “smarter” girls.
New names are also available in the list of choices. New names translates into (you’ve guessed this one on your own) new girls.
In addition to the improved female behavior, WET Productions has included achievements (as if actually getting the girl with your lame attempts to impress her wasn’t achievement enough), new sound effects, and a series of graphical improvements.
Also noteworthy, is that the iPad version of the game now boasts Full HD visuals, which should allow players to see “more” of their virtual girlfriends.
Performance enhancements and bug fixes round up the list of new additions in version 1.2.
‘My Virtual Girlfriend’ went viral and jumped into the top 40 entertainment apps in the U.S iTunes store this holiday season after being mentioned by comedian George Lopez during his monologue ‘Lopez Tonight!’
Since then, ‘My Virtual Girlfriend’ has been receiving around 5500 downloads per day between both the free and paid versions of the game.
