The iPods and most of the other electronic devices and water don't seem to get along well, and I hope that you don't need a
"dead" music player to prove this fact - just remember to keep your iPod (or whatever music player you may have) away from any liquids, extreme heat and you may live happily for a long time with it. Obviously, sometimes you just can't avoid such happenings, so it's better to get some protection...

Coming from Proporta, the Splash Proof Sports Kit allows you to keep your 2G iPod nano with you everywhere, regardless the weather, offering extra protection and added color. The content of this protection kit is just as it follows...

First of all, the dual skin silicone case features two silicone layers that protect your music player from impact and scratches, and both of them have cut aways to give access to all ports and controls of your iPod so you can use it without problems.

The protective clear screen made from poly-carbonate plastic is a hard-wearing protector allowing you to view the MP3 display with full confidence that no damage will come to your favorite player's screen.

The adjustable armband can slide easily through the case, allowing the user to carry its player as part of it. Being held securely by Velcro, the armband allows you to adjust the height and position at any time.

A lanyard attachment option is also available, allowing you to carry your iPod nano around your neck or wrist, and the splash proof base adds improved security against splashes, while allowing you to connect the headphones using the silicone jack attachment.

At last, a free belt clip can be added to your order for free, to allow you to wear your iPod nano on your belt.

Compatible with all the 2G iPod nanos, the Splash Proof Sports Kit is priced at 39.95$, and the last thing that you should know about it is that this design is capable to endure splashes, but it won't protect your iPod from excessive exposure to liquids or full submersion!
