Electronic Arts has unleashed a pretty big sale for its recent Titanfall first-person shooter, dropping the price of the standard game by 50% while operating discounts for its already-released DLC packs, not to mention its Digital Deluxe edition.

Titanfall was one of the biggest releases of the spring season, finally delivering the long awaited multiplayer shooter action promised by developer Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts.

The game was quite good but, as with many multiplayer experiences, the quality of the game depends on how many people are playing it.

As such, after the solid Origin Game Time promotion, through which any Origin user could play the game for a certain time, Electronic Arts is now running a traditional sale for Titanfall.

For a limited time, Origin users can buy Titanfall with a 50% discount. Other Titanfall-related items on sale include the game's Season Pass but also its two already-released DLC packs, in the form of Expedition and Frontier's Edge. The Digital Deluxe edition, which includes Titanfall and its Season Pass in a single package is also on sale for a pretty low price.

The sale expires on August 25 so take advantage of it as soon as possible by visiting the official website or by accessing it through the Origin client.
