We may soon see better SSDs in the former's gaming systems

Maingear is one of the better known pre-configured gaming PC vendors, while Plextor has long been a purveyor of random access memory modules and kits.

These two companies have now entered a partnership. Maingear will continue to launch newer and better gaming PCs, with Plextor's SSDs both adding to the hype and living off it.

A Maingear computer with four 128 GB Plextor M5 Pro Xtreme Solid State Drives in RAID 0 configuration is a winning setup, since it expands the high transfer rates even beyond the norm, and provides security too.

Basically, Maingear will make its PCs very fast and capacious, while Plextor gets to shine because its inventions happened to be good enough that Maingear chose it as primary SSD maker.

You'll still be allowed to choose other models or HDDs of course, if things get too expensive.
