The card may not be available, but that didn't stop the boutique PC maker

Even if the newest video card from Advanced Micro Devices is unavailable to consumers, that doesn't mean the same goes for desktop PC vendors. Like, in this case, Maingear.

Indeed, Maingear already has a nice supply of them, and felt comfortable enough to announce their inclusion in its Shift and F131 desktops.

The company says it's a way to be ready early for the Battlefield 4 game, which will debut later this quarter.

Shift has two Radeon R9 290X graphics adapters in CrossFireX setup, but you can get a third if you have the cash. Meanwhile, F131 has one or two.

In case you don't know, Battlefield 4 is a game by DICE/EA and is the first that can use AMD's Mantle API instead of DirectX.
