14 DAY TRIAL // Mobile content developer and publisher Magmic Games announced a deal with mobile entertainment company IN-FUSIO to develop and sell mobile games from IN-FUSIO's catalog for use on BlackBerry devices. The games will be made available directly via mobile carriers and via BPlay, Magmic's consumer portal offering content for RIM handsets.
The first title to launch is Golden Tee Golf Mobile Edge, the mobile version of one of the most successful coin-operated franchise in U.S. history. Designed to simulate the arcade game experience, Golden Tee Golf Mobile Edge offers four courses adapted from the coin-operated game; single and two-player modes; quick-play Putting Edge and Driving Edge games and customizable golfers and replays. Also, Golden Tee Golf Mobile Edge makes full use of the trackball featured in BlackBerry Curve and Pearl devices, making the arcade experience more real. In addition, Golden Tee Golf Mobile Edge enables users to connect to Golden Tee's coin-operated network, allowing them to check statistics, review contest histories and locate Golden Tee machines in local areas; marking the first time a mobile game is integrated with an established coin-operated network.
