Publisher Paradox has just released the previously announced Magicka for Android devices. We were expecting the game to arrive on Google Play on March 14, but due to unknown reasons, it got delayed.

Dubbed Magicka – Wizards of the Square Tablet, the game brings the same level of entertainment as the PC version, so those who have enjoyed the desktop edition will now be able to play it on the go as well.

Magicka for Android features a brand new campaign, different from the one on the PC, as well as two modes: single and multiplayer.

More importantly, developer Ludosity has confirmed that Magicka supports cross-platform co-op, which means that iOS and Android users will be able to play together.

Magicka 1.2 is now available for purchase for $2.5/ €1.9 via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all tablets running Android 2.2 and up. Check it out here.
