14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at the North studio of Paradox Interactive announces that it is working on a new title in the Magicka universe, called Wizard Wars, which will focus on Player versus Player battles and will allow four players to take part.
The game will use the dynamic spell-casting system that made Magicka a success and will allow players to create four-man teams and challenge others on battlefields shaped by magic.
The team states, “With short rounds and unpredictable strategies, Wizard Wars gives both novice players and experienced MOBA veterans a unique tactical depth in every encounter.”
The reveal trailer for the game is interesting because it uses Magicka characters to parody both Game of Thrones, which will soon return to HBO, and the recent election of a new pope.
Magicka Wizard Wars will be offered on the PC and does not yet have an official launch window.
