The hydrofloors literally sink into the ground revealing a swimming pool

All my life I've dreamed of having a house with a swimming pool in the backyard. But building a pool usually means displacing something else, such as lawn, terrace or yard.

However, modern technology has found a solution for this, making it possible to transform a usable space or surface into an amazing swimming pool whenever you want it.

As you can see in the video embedded above, the so-called hydrofloors literally sink into the ground revealing a swimming pool already full of water.

The hydrofloors are mechanically operated tiles that at a touch of a button descend automatically and water fills in the void left behind, transforming the space into a swimming pool.

The system works the other way around too, as it can revert to its original purpose. So, the swimming pool can disappear and make room for a place for recreation, social events, dining or dancing. It's basically a space that transforms seamlessly from one function to another.

Just imagine a ballroom dancing slowly becoming a pool party!

This innovative design is certainly a cool thing, but I can only imagine how expensive it must be. However, if I were rich enough to have one installed in my backyard, I would definitely have it.
