Magic Mike,” for its impressive cast, is actually an indie movie, a passion project both for director Steven Soderbergh and Channing.
Based on the actor's early work experience as a stripper, it tells the story of Magic Mike and his young friend, whom he instructs in the art of keeping the ladies entertained – for a buck.
