After a few rumors yesterday, Microsoft has confirmed that September's Games with Gold, aka the titles that will be offered for free to Xbox Live Gold subscribers, will be Magic: The Gathering Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas.

In order to counter Sony's impressive PlayStation Plus service, Microsoft presented Games with Gold, an initiative designed to give Xbox Live Gold users access to different free games forever, not just for how long they have gold.

Now, ahead of the upcoming month of September, Microsoft's Larry Hryb has confirmed on his blog that the two games that will be offered for free are Magic 2013 and Rainbow Six: Vegas.

Magic 2013 is going free on September 1, tomorrow, while Rainbow Six: Vegas is going to become free on September 16.

The Games with Gold initiative is set to last until December and Microsoft confirmed that it might actually extend it if there's demand.
