Back in April, actress Maggie Q and green-oriented group WildAid launched a campaign intended to save the world's remaining rhinos and elephants by convincing people to quit buying products made from their horns and tusks.

A couple of days ago, the actress arrived in New York City to shoot some public service announcements that will run as part of WildAid's “Say No” campaign.

While filming these announcements, Maggie Q insisted to once again draw attention about the fact that the trade in such products affects biodiversity and undermines conservation efforts.

“I am standing once again with WildAid because the demand for ivory and rhino horn are pushing elephants and rhinos closer to extinction.”

“We all must take responsibility to either change our behavior or inform those who do not see the destruction they are wreaking on these species with their choices,” she said, as cited by Look to the Stars.

The announcements are expected to soon hit the public eye, so stay tuned for more info.
