Mageia 2 Beta 3 operating system was made available for download on April 18th and it comes with many improvements, bugfixes, new features, and updated packages.
Mageia 2 Beta 3 is the last development release from the Beta series of Mageia 2 and it is powered by Linux kernel 3.3.1.
This release is now distributed as Live CDs with the KDE Software Compilation 4.8.2 and GNOME 3.4 desktop environments, as well as glibc 2.14.1, PulseAudio 2.0 pre-release, CUPS 1.5.2, and systemd.
Mageia 2 Beta 3 is distributed as installable DVD ISO images, a dual arch CD, and ten Live CD ISO images with the GNOME and KDE4 desktop environments, all available for both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures.
