As expected, Himalaya Studios’ “Mage’s Initiation” project has been funded on KickStarter ahead of deadline. The classic adventure game will be released on February 2014, but there’s a chance the launch will be pushed back if more stretch goals are met.

Mage’s Initiation sits at $69,451/€53,432 and is only a few hundred bucks away of the 70K/€54K milestone, which will see two random backers rewarded with packs worth $450/€345.

These packs include the goodies listed below and are given to two random backers when the project attains a new 10K/€7.6K milestone:

- 4 Game boxes (Fire, Earth, Air, and Water) containing game and soundtrack CDs; - 1 Standard DVD Case/copy of the “Mages Initiation” game; - 4 D'arc Polyresin figures - Fire, Earth, Air, and Water (4” x 3” x 3”); - 3 Digital Copies of the “Mage's Initiation” game; - 1 Digital Copy of the “Al Emmo & the Lost Dutchman’s Mine” game; - 1 Digital “Al Emmo & the Lost Dutchman’s Mine” soundtrack (53 Tracks); - 1 “Mage's Initiation” Poster (18” x 24”); - 1 “Mage’s Initiation” 50-page Hardcover Art book; - 2 Bronze “Severed Circle” Pendants; - 3 Complete sets of character trading cards (15 foil packs, 120 cards total); - 1 Art Lithograph, Signed by JP Selwood (8.5” x 11”); - 2 Cloth Maps of the Land of Iginor (11” x 17”); - 2 T-shirts (Mens or Ladies sizes).

Given the fact Mage’s Initiation has been successfully funded, developers decided to offer fans of the genre some stretch goals that would make the game much more interesting.

For example, if $75K/€58K are pledged by March 23, Himalaya Studios will add Undead Skeletons and Spider Swarms as fightable enemies.

Moreover, a Redcap Goblin polyresin figure will be added at the $100/€80 tier and above. Additional details on Mage’s Initiation’s stretch goals are available in KickStarter.
