14 DAY TRIAL // In January this year, Mel Gibson and then-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, got into a fight that quickly turned violent. Grogorieva was left with two chipped teeth after it, as Gibson hit her once in the mouth and once in the temple, while her and his daughter, Lucia, was left slightly bruised and with a small wound on her chin. Lucia was only two months old at the time, Radar Online says.
Allegations that Gibson also hit his own daughter – an infant, nonetheless – started to make the rounds as several audios of the conversations he had with Oksana began to surface online. However, this is the first time that a photo of the child is actually made available by any publication – yet, if it’s accurate (that is to say, it hasn’t been doctored and what Lucia has is actually a bruise), it could literally kill whatever is left of Mel’s reputation and career.
“This is the photograph Oksana Grigorieva is using to plead with a judge and child protective services to strip Mel Gibson of his custodial rights over their baby daughter Lucia. In a bombshell world exclusive, Radar Online has obtained the photo of Lucia showing what appears to be a small abrasion on her chin after the brutal January 6 brawl, in which Oksana claims Mel punched her and hit their child, who was being held by Oksana at the time. The baby was two months old,” Radar writes in a post accompanying the photo in question (which you can see here).
“The image was taken in the hours after the fight and is evidence in the court battle between Mel and Oksana, as well as other ongoing investigations – civil and criminal – involving them. The Department of Children and Family Services is investigating and, as Radar Online reported exclusively, will be interviewing Gibson this week. Investigators from the agency have already interviewed Oksana and her 12-year-old son Alexander, also known as Sascha,” the e-zine further says.
Oksana sticks to her initial story that Mel became very violent that night. However, it was only after the fight that she noticed blood and the abrasion on Lucia, which is when she decided to take a photo of it as proof of how her life is in danger. Camp Gibson is singing a different tune, saying Mel did not touch Oksana. On the contrary, she started shaking the baby and he only tried to stop her from doing so.
