Anthony Ciccone, Madonna’s estranged brother who has been homeless for years and is an alcoholic, has been arrested in Michigan after getting into a scuffle with a police officer.

Michigan’s Traverse City Record-Eagle reports that a highly inebriated Ciccone refused to leave the bathroom of the Grand Traverse County Civic Center as officers requested of him.

They wanted to take him downtown for an outstanding trespassing warrant.

Even more, he became aggressive when they insisted and a scuffle ensued, resulting in a gash on his forehead that required 9 stiches.

“He pulled away, turned around and confronted the female officer in an aggressive manner,” Traverse City Police Capt. Brian Heffner says for the publication.

“She turned him around and brought him to the ground, which is when he struck his face on the bathroom floor,” Heffner adds.

Ciccone was taken to the hospital where he was stitched up and, as of the time of writing, is still in police custody.

“He is expected to be charged with felony resisting and obstructing a police officer. Ciccone was transported to Munson Medical Center where he received several stitches. Heffner said the hospital recorded Ciccone's blood-alcohol level at .40, or five times the level for intoxication in Michigan,” the aforementioned media outlet says.

Earlier this month, Ciccone spoke to the press again about his famous, now-billionaire sister Madonna, lamenting his fate and the fact that everyone in his family – particularly her – turned their back on him.

He also insisted that his being an alcoholic was a problem that could only be solved through the love and support of his family, of which he’s been getting none these past few years. Sources close to the family denied his story, saying it was him who shut them out.

Ciccone told the press that he did not need rehab because he didn’t like the alcoholic label.
