Queen of pop Madonna announced that the name of the first single from her new album "Confessions on a Dance Floor", is called "Hung Up", which has been produced by Stuart Price, aka Jacques Lu Cont.

Price, who served as musical director on Madonna's 2004 Re-Invention tour, is currently in Los Angeles, California mixing the album with the singer. The Re-Invention Tour is set to be released as a DVD by the end of the year.

Madonna's forthcoming album is expected to be released on the market sometime at the end of this year, or on early 2006. No dates have been listed for the release of the new single.

Madonna's latest album, "American Life", which has topped The Billboard 200, sold almost 656.000 copies in the US.
