The Queen of Pop has been fined over £2,500 for forcing her driver to park illegally while she was in gym.

Madonna, 47, who goes twice a week at a London fitness center to work out with a specialist, told her driver to wait for her right in front of the building. The car, parked on the yellow line, was soon noticed by a traffic warden, who approached the vehicle and signed a parking ticket.

Because the incident happened more than 50 times, the singer managed to collect a total of £2,500 in fines. The wardens confessed they have noticed the cars, that alternate between a BMW 7-series, Audi A8 and Mercedes Maybach, waiting in the same place, since August last year.

A source told Britain's Daily Mail newspaper: "We have watched the wardens do it week in week out. They wait in a park round the corner and suddenly appear.
Madonna's driver has started getting really irate. He says to them, 'You know I can't move, you know what I'm here for, so if you're going to ticket me just get on with it and get out of here'."

Madonna is probably the richest female artist in the world. According to Sunday Times Rich List of 2005, her capital is estimated at between $420 million and $450 million (£235 million).
