The new Madonna album, "Confessions on a Dance Floor" will soon be presented on tour. One year after the release from 2005, and after 1.29 million discs sold, Madonna shall start her tour in Los Angeles on the 21st of May. There will be 22 concerts all in all, visiting the biggest arenas throughout United States and Europe.
The warm up for the great around-the-world tour will also be something completely new for the kind of performances Madonna used us to. It will be her first appearance on a festival stage. On April 30th she'll be playing at Coachella Festival, in Indio, California, together with bands like Daft Punk or Massive Attack.
The tour director will be Jamie King, music direction being assured by Stuart Price, while costumes design will be taken care of by Arianne Phillips and Jean Paul Gaultier. After impressing everybody with the outfit in her last videos, we are all waiting to see how Gaultier will take care of Madonna's stage appearances.
Up to July, she will only play in the United States. But with the concert from Cardiff, on July 30th, she'll be starting the European part of the tour. After Britain, Italy, Germany and Denmark, the goodbye concert of the tour will take place in Amsterdam.
