A British company came up with an offer to Madonna according to which she had to make an ad for 'Slimnsexy', a new wonder pill that helps you to rapidly loose those extra pounds while, at the same time, increasing your libido.
The price speculated for the job was $3.8 millions (£2 million) and the manager director of the firm considered it not a bad deal 'for ten minutes' work'. But Madonna didn't allow herself to be blinded by such a sum and politely declined the offer.
Bad mouths say that she did so because the 'lady of the manor' is now above such worldly things as sex or, even worse, sex talks. Others say that probably she thought that the money just weren't good enough. We might never learn the truth because the singer's PRs refuse to make any comment on her decision.
James Dixon, the director of the firm, has a different opinion about this and, consequently, went straight to the headquarters of the newspaper 'The Daily Star' and spoke his mind to everybody who was willing to hear him out, quote: 'it was deemed too raunchy [...]. It seems basques and crucifixions are OK but talking about her sex life isn't'. Didn't he already know that Madonna is currently trying to make us all believe what a pure woman she is?
