Pop singer Madonna was horrified by the aftermath made by US officials about Hurricane Katrina's damages, arguing this natural disaster was even worse than the terrorist attacks from 11 September four years ago.
Speaking at the fourth anniversary of the terrorist attacks on New York City and Washington DC, Madonna declared she was shocked by the tragedy and damages in Louisiana, where hundred of people died and millions were left without a home.
She said: "We have had another natural disaster that's kind of making that look like nothing in comparison. Well not nothing, but it's worse in a lot of ways."
Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone, born August 16, 1958, principally known by her first name, is an American pop singer, composer, actress, dancer, author, activist, and fashion icon.
She rose to prominence in the 1980s, and has become the most successful female solo artist of all time, according to Guinness World Records. She is one of a small number of singers who have been referred to as the "Queen of Pop".
Madonna is the only recording artist to have a top-ten hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with at least one single from every album that has had a single released and probably the richest female artist in the world.
According to Sunday Times Rich List of 2005, her capital is estimated at between $420 million and $450 million (£235 million).
