After a painful and highly mediated divorce from British film director Guy Ritchie, Madonna is finally able to enjoy life as a singleton again. So much so that she has actually “kidnapped” her reported boyfriend, model Jesus Luz, and is keeping him in New York somewhat against his will, his own mother is telling the media.

Jesus and Madonna met while taking part in a photo shoot for W magazine and, since then, they have been practically inseparable. In fact, their relationship has advanced so much that the couple has actually been seen out dining on more than a couple of occasions, with Luz even paying a few visits to the Kabbalah center where Madonna spends a lot of time. As expected, this has prompted speculation that Jesus might be turning to the cult for guidance in an attempt to please the singer.

“The hunk’s mortified mom, Cristiane Regina da Silva – who is 14 years younger than Madonna – believes the pop diva has kidnapped her son, snatching him away to a New York love nest and controlling his every move. Madonna and Jesus spent the Christmas holiday in the Maldives, where her public-relations people confiscated his cellphone, according to the Brazilian media. His mom said she received only a cryptic text message from Jesus wishing his loved ones a Merry Christmas and telling them he wouldn’t be visiting for the holidays.” the New York Post writes in today’s issue.

To make matters only worse, Jesus’ mother is also extremely concerned about the age difference between Madonna and her son. The model, for instance, has a grandmother that is 50 years old, while the singer will turn 51 this year. Add to that the fact that she’s been keeping him away from his family and presumably introducing him to a lifestyle he is not familiar with, and one can almost understand how da Silva is feeling right now.

Just recently, Madonna made the headlines again when the aforementioned W photo shoot hit newsstands. Showing her fully clothed, but in the company of a Jesus Luz in various degreed of undress, the spread is said to have made Madonna’s children feel “ashamed” and “embarrassed,” while also scandalizing almost the entire media.
