Madonna is working overtime to promote her latest musical effort which has been grandiosely named “Messiah.” After the singer posted on social media a photo of the sheet music and then a video of an orchestra playing said song, she's now offering a glimpse at the original lyrics.

The photo was posted on her Instagram yesterday and it was captioned “Salvation through music,” a play of words on the title “Messiah.” The sheet of paper captured in the image has a number of verses printed out on it that constitute the song's lyrics and they're pretty weird.

“I am the sorceress, down in the deep/ I am the earth, under your feet/ I am the moon with no light of my own/ You are the sun guarding your throne,” reads what looks like the beginning of the song. The rest of the lyrics are equally confusing and weird, leaving people to wonder what the music is going to sound like.

Judging by the video with the orchestra, there is at least one part of the song that's going to have classical music playing. At the moment, there is no clear information about the release date on the song, or for the new album for that matter.

All we know is that Madonna is working hard on it and that there has been widespread rumors that she was working together with Diplo and Avicii to get it done.
