Madonna was seriously injured after she fell of a horse yesterday, on her 47th birthday, and taken to the hospital, but now she is believed to be recovering at her home in Wiltshire
The diva cracked three ribs, and broke a collarbone and a hand in the fall at her 1,200-acre Ashcombe House estate, where she had been celebrating her birthday with her husband, Guy Ritchie, and her two children, Lourdes and Rocco, according to Liz Rosenberg, her spokeswoman based in New York.
"It happened around 4 p.m. London time. Madonna is pretty banged upHer new disc is due this Novemeber and she is set to tour next summer. It's too soon to tell if the tour will be affected, but the press for the disc will definitely be affected." Rosenberg said in an exclusive statement to Access Hollywood.
Barbara Charone, confirmed that the singer had been injured in the fall. "Madonna fell off a new horse she was riding at Ashcombe House, her country house outside of London", she said.
The Queen of Pop had been taking riding lessons at Stag Riding Stables in Richmond, south-west London, and borrowed two horses to ride at her country estate, that were returned after a few days. The accident occurred as a new horse she wasn't accustomed to riding, took a tumble.
